  • Can I transfer my existing phone numbers?

    Of course! Call us at 800-609-0960 and we’ll setup ZipZap to use your existing telephone and/or fax numbers. And for a limited time – there are no number porting fees!

  • Can ZipZap assign me a phone or fax number?

    Of course! We can provide as many local or toll-free numbers as you’d like!. Any number you add can be designated as a Fax Line with the tap of your finger. You can also get local numbers from different regions. Need numbers for San Francisco, Seattle, and Savannah, Georgia? No problem, our search capability when adding a line allows you to select the desired area code! Or, just contact us and we’ll get you all the local numbers you need.

  • Can I keep my toll-free or local number if I choose to cancel?

    We are sorry to see you go!

    Yes, the owner of the account on file with us can transfer any local or toll-free number to another provider as long as the account is active. Please contact the other provider to start the process BEFORE you cancel your account with us. To start the process, just contact the other provider you wish to port to. Once the process has completed, then you can safely cancel your account with us. (Numbers that are still on accounts when they are canceled are released to the spare pool and will not be portable.)

  • Can I choose a vanity number?

    Have a lucky number in mind? We can help you secure a vanity telephone number. You can also choose from a list of local telephone numbers during the signup process.

  • Do I have to purchase additional equipment?

    Besides your iPad, no additional equipment is required. If you want the feel of a traditional telephone handset (instead of Apple earbuds or your Bluetooth headset), you can buy one here. (Note: This link will take you away from ZipZap.com to a third party website.)

  • Is Customer Service available?

    Yes, we’re available to help Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm PST at 800-609-0960 or by dialing 611 from within the ZipZap App on your iPad. You can also contact us by email or get answers by using our online support site.

  • Can I use my iPad with a traditional handset?

    ZipZap works great with the standard iPad speakerphone, with Apple earbuds, or with any Bluetooth headset. Customers that prefer a more traditional handset have used wired or Bluetooth handsets such as these:

  • Can I print incoming faxes?

    Yes, as long as your iPad is setup for printing and your printer supports the Apple AirPrint standard – you should have no problem printing faxes from the iPad. If that doesn’t work, you can email the fax to any email from the iPad to print it that way.

  • Can I use ZipZap internationally?

    ZipZap can be used anywhere you have an internet connection. Best of all, your callers won’t know if you’re at your desk, across the street, or overseas!

  • Can I make international calls?

    Just to make sure your account is safe, we disable international outbound calls by default. With that said, yes we support outbound international calls!

    For international rates and to enable outbound international calls, contact customer support at 800-609-0960 or dial 611 from within the app. International rates vary and can change daily. International service may only be enabled by the account owner and requires full account verification. If you are not the account owner, please have the account owner contact us. (Hint: it’s who the bills are emailed to!)

  • What if I need multiple telephone numbers?

    You can add additional telephone numbers in seconds. It’s simple, and ZipZap can support an unlimited number of numbers, both local and toll-free. You can also get local numbers from different regions. Want local numbers for San Francisco, Seattle, and Savannah, Georgia? No problem, just contact us and we’ll get you all the local numbers you need.

  • How do I text using ZipZap?

    It’s simple – just tap the text icon from the contact card or from within an active call, and type away.

  • Can use my cell phone with ZipZap?

    ZipZap can forward inbound calls to a cell phone (or any telephone number). Outbound calls from your ZipZap number can only be made with the ZipZap app.

  • How many people can participate in a group call?

    ZipZap supports up to eight (8) callers in a group call.

  • Is conference calling with ZipZap really that different?

    It is. ZipZap conference calling is truly revolutionary. Really. Add or remove callers with the swipe of a finger. See the communication history, Facebook and Twitter logs, and photo of each caller. Text while on the call. Mute all callers or just some. See who’s hogging the mike with speaker identification. This is one feature that must be seen to be believed. It’s easy and it’s fun!

  • How much does ZipZap cost?

  • Is there a setup fee?

    There are no ZipZap setup fees. Just download the free app from the App Store and go!

  • Do I have to commit to a long-term contract?

    Of course not! Why would such an incredible, transformational, invaluable service require a long-term contract? You can cancel anytime by calling ZipZap Support at 800-609-0960.

  • How many minutes are included?

    If you choose to add the ability to call non ZipZap Mobile or Landline numbers, our incredibly low pricing includes unlimited minutes! Unlimited usage plans are designed for users with typical usage patterns. If you forward calls to outside persons or locations beyond 250 minutes per billing cycle, or exceed our typical usage profile, additional fees may apply.   • What are my payment options?

    Once your free trial ends, you’ll need to provide a credit card or ACH to continue using ZipZap. Your card will be billed automatically on the monthly anniversary of your start date.

  • How do I cancel my subscription?

    Really? You’re breaking up with us? We’re sorry to see you go! But the good news is there are no cancellation fees! To cancel your account, call ZipZap Support at 800-609-0960, or you can dial 611 from within the ZipZap App.
